Awoke to a lovely pink sky, a stag bellowing in the forest behind the cottage and an eagle flying overhead.
The forecast was for a dry day so we headed out early, northwards to the Isle of Skye.
The roads were quiet. A nice change from when we were last here in the summer two years ago
Travelling with non photographers I have to carefully negotiate photo opportunities. It's not easy to pull over on unfamiliar roads and in the morning we missed a chance to capture a group of highland coos.
However, on the way back from our tour around the island, they were still close to the fence and I was ready to yell STOP!
Although I had dreamt of getting a wonderful wild landscape shot on Skye, this beauty stole my heart
