Brighton Breeze

We spent the morning tidying up the garden and then at lunch time we caught the bus into town as it was the Brighton Breeze (VW Camper Vans) event on Madeira Drive.  Alan really wants a camper/day van so he was keen to go and get some ideas, and there were plenty of different layouts to look at.  There were really old vans - some in pristine condition, and some very rusty ones, as well as some very modern ones.  There was even one that had been turned into a Jack Daniels bar with a log burner, which I've added to my extras.

I have fond memories of Bertie Bus which was an orange VW Camper and was owned by a friend when Rachel was a toddler. We were 4 young mums that all met when we were pregnant, and we all used to pile into Bertie to go swimming - there were no seatbelts or child seats in those days! What fun we had :-)

We met up with Steffi and her lovely husband for a drink as they were in Brighton and when we went our separate ways, Alan and I headed into town and ended up going for an early dinner at Chilli Pickle where we had an Indian Thali - It was delicious and a nice way to round off the day.  Hope you've had a good one!
