Soccer Star

My husband is in NYC to attend two baseball playoff games with son #3.  It is a quick trip but it will give him time to spend with our darling granddaughter.  Here she is, this morning, ready for Soccer.  She is only two and a half and very tiny and petite, although looking a bit older here. She takes her soccer lessons with other little ones the same age.  My husband described it as like herding cats but she is enjoying it.

I have had to turn off the news.  Many of us here in the U.S. are pretty obsessed with it.  With the 24-hour coverage, and new developments happening frequently throughout the day, especially in the evening, my anxiety level is at "Defcon 1" and I think I need to take a break. Anyway, after having friends rave about it for years, I have discovered the "Great British Baking Show" and I am finding it very therapeutic.
