Red In Tooth & Claw, Aylesford

Decided to do an earlyish run this morning even though the weather was inclement. Made the massive mistake off setting off while it was still raining, only for it to get so much worse as I got further into my trot. At one stage it was biblical, the roads and even the pavements were just torrents of water, so I was completely and utterly soaked even though I curtailed my footfall to about fifteen minutes, tops. It was strangely invigorating even when I could only see through one eye!
Needless to say, bar one or two light showers, the rest of the day was mostly dry if a little on the breezy side. Then I saw this "face" on a walk to the pub and it reminded me of what went before.
