Today has been all about snoozing!

When we were down in 'St Ives', Ann bought me a new bed. - £20 reduced from £40. Bargain!!!



At night, or when I get left 'home alone', I have to go into my crate in the kitchen area (see extras). When I was a teeny, weeny little puppy I used to get shut in my crate. Now that I'm a big grown up puppy my crate door is always left open but there's a gate between our kitchen/living room so that I have to stay in the kitchen area.



In the past, I've been known to do naughty things like chewing the walls or kitchen units or shredding my bedding and apparently that's why I've got to be contained to one area.



Mmmmmmm...................... I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, my new bed.



When we came back from St Ives, last Saturday, Ann put my new bed in the living room so that I could get used to it. For the first couple of days I just ignored it. And then do you know what happened?........................ I decided to go into it for a little snooze. 


OMG! It is the comfiest bed in the whole wide world. I LOVE it!



I LOVE it soooo much that I don't even sit on the sofa any more. …........And I have my own very special rug on the sofa that I can sit on.



Every time I come back from a walk, I just head straight into my new bed. And I pretty much stay there until it's time for me to go out again.



I've still got my 'crate' in the kitchen because Ann is worried if she moves my 'comfy new bed' into the kitchen and gets rid of my crate, I'm going to become unsettled and start chewing/shredding things again. And also tbh, she likes having my bed in the living room so that she can watch me sleeping.

However, I'm not a 'teeny, weeny, little puppy any more and my crate takes up a huge amount of space in our kitchen.

Do you think I'm old enough and mature enough for Ann to get rid of my crate so that I can have my new, comfy bed in the kitchen area?



Do you think if I only have my new comfy bed in the kitchen area I might get a bit bored and chew it up or shred it?



How long does it take for a 'hyper, friendly, excitable, absolutely gorgeous, little collie to calm down and turn into a 'perfect pooch'???
