Morning visit.
We went to visit a young couple who’re getting married in under two weeks! They live here; I’d planned to photograph the view of the hills from their front garden but it was grey and dreich. They’d the log fire on and scones baked, so all was well. We’d tea.
It was great to hear their chat, to reminisce, to learn of their wedding plans, and what they’re planning beyond. Great times.
To think the bride-to-be was a babe in arms at our wedding, over thirty years ago...... time flies.
Afterwards we walked around the University campus, and had a snack in the Macrobert Arts Centre. Always like this being in this neck of the woods, so familiar and comfortable here.
Later in the day we caught up with our sons, heard of the tales from the #AUOBEdinburgh march for Scottish independence yesterday, and of reunions they had with various old friends this weekend.
