A quiet Sunday
Had a bit of a lie in as we didn’t get back till after 1 so it was a slow start on what looked at first glance to be a wet day. First impressions are not always correct and the rain didn’t come to anything so we got our walking shoes on and took a walk around the bay by the village. The visitor centre had a really interesting exhibition about the use of the village as a training centre for Czech and Slovak forces during the war.
Walk over and we nipped into the pub to listen to the Sunday sessions - a nice relaxed way to end a great weekend.
Back to the van for some drinks and a game of Mille Bourne - a french card game we used to play with the kids. Good fun even if I came last. Dinner was followed by more wine until we ladies retired for the night and the boys stayed up with a whisky or two. Wild and windy night but more on that later.
In the collage is a picture of a hammock on the beach beside the campsite which I thought looked pretty derelict. Thanks to Marlieske for hosting.
