Dawn....

....was vibrant as first light hit the trees creating fresh new spring leaves to glow. It looked amazing against the heavy sky but alas it was fleeting as the clouds won the battle of the morn.

A great gardening day, mostly cloudy with pockets of sun. A gusty nor'wester got up this afternoon but seemed to be short lived, a warm 23C.

My hostas are on the move, a couple already in leaf while others are just breaking the ground. I discovered some seedling begonia's from last summer, 6 plants which is great, I think they'll be white which will look nice under the rhododendrons.
