all eyes on me

This is a typical sight in our home in the mornings. When I open the blinds over the sliding door to our back deck, the squirrels come begging. And as long as I give Grace a peanut when I open the door to feed the squirrels all goes well. If I skip over Grace and give the peanuts to the squirrels first, then Grace will get up and bark at the squirrels to let us know how offended she is. And if I take too long in getting around to feeding the squirrels, Grace will bark at me to let me know I am slacking.
So what is the real pecking order here?
