Another Lovely Fall Day
And it just happens to be my granddaughter's sixth birthday! Hard to believe time has gone by so quickly.
We had our first frost last night - woke up to temps of 30 degrees F this morning. Fortunately the frost seemed to only hit the rooftops and not the garden, so no plants succumbed. It was a stunning day - crystal blue skies and sunny, although it only got into the high 50's.
This annual salvia called "Mystic Spires Blue" has been a winner in the garden this year. It seems to be coming into it's own with this cooler weather. It's a beauty for sure, and I'll make sure to grow it again!
