Niagara Falls

If I had a bucket list ( which I haven’t) I’d have ticked one off my list today. We did an organised tour to Niagara Falls - about 2 hours away by coach from Toronto. We were lucky - the weather was fantastic and falls were not too busy. There is actually two sets of falls - the smaller set on the American side of the border with the larger - Horseshoe Falls in Canadian water. The highlight was taking the boat close to the falls - a very wet but exhilarating experience. On the very slow journey back to Toronto we stopped at Niagara in the Lake - a pretty picturesque town on the shores of Lake Ontario. We managed a wee walk and there were plenty wee shops to keep us entertained until the journey back to the city.
