Tummy Time

Another modern day innovation in babycare is tummy time.  When Euan is awake but not yet calling for milk, we have a short period when he is placed on his tummy.  During this time he engages with us and takes in his environment and we all go melty when those eyes latch on to our faces.  Becky has cards with black and white shapes which he finds totally absorbing.  He also gets the chance to exercise his legs (which is good for releasing the wind!) and lift his head.  It's a particularly special time of day.

Rob and Tony went up to Salem to do some work at the house today.  Tony has filled the holes on the staircase ready for sanding and painting and Rob has met with Greg the Bathroom Guy, who for the last couple of weeks has been Greg the Floor Guy and will eventually be Greg the Solar Guy, he's a real find!

Meanwhile back in the Euan Bubble, Becky and I had a quiet day engaging him when awake and catching up with jobs and rest when he was asleep.  We also managed a turn around Bunker Hill Monument with him in the stroller after the mizzle had gone through.
