Praying Mantis

We have had a pretty quiet day today. Debbie and I went for a short walk along the cliffs. We tried the beach first but I was finding it a bit painful to walk on the sand - there were quite deep ruts where people had walked, which were pulling my toes in different directions. Funny how you don't notice it as a rule! Anyway, the walk along the cliffs was nice, and we found a rock to sit on for a while.

We walked down to their apartment, which is really close, and chilled for w while before going for a little walk to the local shop.

I walked straight past this praying mantis, but Debbie spotted it in the middle of the pathway - it just looked like a stick but its shadow gave it away!
