Wisteria....

This time last year I was heartbroken. Our enormous, ancient wisteria with its pale lilac flowers had died. Not a bud, let alone a flower, in sight. I was so upset as apart from the beautiful spring display the leaves provided welcome shade in the heat of summer. However a wise gardening friend said leave it be..... it will come back from the bottom and flower again. Thank you Rachel.... you were right.... it has come back to life and with flowers to delight us.
