Before Dusk

Missed opportunities! Later, when I went to photograph it was raining pretty hard, so I combined my outing with a trip to the shops and tried a few shots through an open car window.

I found this view through a gap in the hedgerow and liked how it reflected the mood of the evening, dim, damp and a hint of mist in the far trees.

Even at a high iso and hand held (well resting on the window frame), it seems reasonably sharp, at least for web viewing. Ideally I would have got lower to place the overhanging branch above the bushes in the centre.

I like the twisty white-ish tree to the left, I might go and try a close up of that another time.
