One Last Dance

The graceful gesture of the branches attracted me to study this tree. As with many of its neighbours, the tree is dead and may not survive the winter storms and, if so, the skyline will be poorer for it.

I had in mind to study a few such trees, but when editing I was undecided whether any of them warranted a post. There is after all no center of interest and the image is half blue, half green, no variation in the sky and quite chaotic.

Nevertheless, I had to remind myself what attracted me in the first place and came back to the gesture and shape.
