Ideford Common

It was a beautiful start to the day so I took both the girls up onto the common for their walk.
Cas is quite happy to plod along level ground so , after driving up to the hill, we spent a lovely hour in warm sun, admiring the far reaching views of the misty valleys of both the Teign and the Exe.
It is impossible to take the camera when I've got Jorgie on the end of a lead so another frustrating morning using the phone to try and capture the landscape.
I have been without hot water or any heating since Friday night so I was relieved to receive a call from the engineer saying he was on his way at 10am
The problem with the boiler took ages to diagnose and I had to watch all the mist drift away before I had another chance to go out again.
Then another couple of calls meant the afternoon passed running errands.
The rest of the week looks like it's going to be wet.
Ah well! At least I can now have a hot shower after yet more wet dog walks.
