Stormy and wet.

Last night we had a big thunderstorm and heavy rain which lasted on right through most of the day.  So we worked indoors; I cut 15mm off the kitchen door so that it would fit over the new floor tiles, then N sanded and prepared it for painting. We worked together to cut the material for the long curtains in the living room, 330cm drop. I fitted a venetian blind to the dressing room window and then had a go at reworking a big painting I did earlier this year of boats.  It looks much better now, oil over acrylic.  Around 5 o'clock the sun came out so we went for a walk, but just got back home before the rain came down again.  I managed to snap the rose in between the showers.
