Photographic Poeticisms

Light

Hark
What light is this
That glows
Unbidden
In the daytime sky
Illuminating all
As though
Moon had risen
Full bright in her smile
But no!
This is not the moon
Shining its silver glow
Cold light
Casting sharp shadow
Instead
There is gold
Spreading
A warmth
That enfolds and pervades
Invoking
Smile on frown-filled face
Stretching
Of weary
Bone-achingly cold muscles
Causing to form
A desire
Frightening in its unexpectedness
To laugh
To feel pleasure
To simply stand
And luxuriate
But what
Is this that causes
These feelings
It is so long
I can no longer recall
Its name

Can you?
