After school

I made the boys chicken risotto for dinner, took me longer than I'd hoped, but wanted them to have a good meal before bed.... They both went rogue and demanded a sandwich instead.  Sometimes you want to throw in the towel and just give them toast for supper (they do both have a main meal at lunch time, so it isn't THAT bad an idea). 

Had my hair cut today, I don't think it looks that great and miss my lovely London hair dresser so much.  Today's hair dresser wanted to know how she should dry my hair - I just want it dried, I'm sure some ladies are far more pedantic than I am.  It's a little like the masara lady the other day who asked what my eye-lash 'style' is.  I just want a mascara.... 

Cat has been booted out for the evening, found him tucking into the left-over risotto (there's a lot of left-overs tonight).
