A Rainy Day

I woke to a wind-driven rain this morning - the weather did indeed change, as forecasted. It rained much of the day, but eased off this afternoon. The wind and rain blew a lot of the turned leaves off the trees. I took advantage of the break in the rain to walk in the neighborhood...I wanted to see if I could capture some of the fall beauty.

The main blip is my neighbor's Japanese Maple. There were also quite a number of beautiful flowers in various gardens around the neighborhood. The extras are of a dahlia and a calendula, soaked with rain.
