The Gridiron Be Gone

Today was Merrick's last football game of the season. In the picture on the bottom, Merrick is being triple-teamed by hornets...Kearsley Hornets.

Unfortunately, the Hornets from Kearsley swarmed all over our Linden Eagles. The final score was 28 to 0, but it felt even worse than that.

Also...unfortunately...Merrick's coach (with no explanation) decided that Merrick would play about 25% of the plays...instead of 75% of the plays.

So, he was bummed, the team was bummed, and...trust me...the grandparents didn't feel too good either. In the top right, he is running off into the football sunset.
