Atlanta United

A took us to the Mercedes Benz stadium this afternoon to watch Atlanta United play New England, Atlanta won to the delight of the very enthusiastic crowd, fuelled by copious amounts of food and beer and accompanied by the constant drumming and chanting from the 'Kop'! It's a huge stadium and apparently the average attendance at a United soccer match is 53,000!!
I liked one of the flags - a typical Southern saying!
Tonight out dil's mother had put on a party for us to meet some of their friends, done with true Southern hospitality! You can see the deserts table in one of the extras.
