Apple Day

A crisp morning on Murray and my walk. Different fungi around: clumps of cone-shaped rust-coloured, little white spheres stems buried in grass, fairy rings and cafe au lait coloured, slimy, irregular shaped ones. Love it!
Mid-morning headed off to the Botanic Gardens' Apple Day.
It was very busy. A queue about a quarter of a mile long snaked outside the Tasting marquee. The other half of the marquee to purchase different varieties were selling out fast.  I thought that by the time I'd tasted a rare variety of apple it would be sold out at the other end.
