Chainsaw carving

I popped by the garden centre today where they were running an "Apple Festival", offering sample tastings of a huge range of British apples (there are so many!).  There were also other stalls there, including honey producers, apple and pear juice producers, mulled ginger wine, wood turning - and this guy producing magnificent sculptures from wood using chain saws.

I watched him start with a large, rectangular block of wood and (quite quickly) produce this amazing owl carving on a plinth, using just a range of chain saws of different sizes.  The guy is Will Lee and, not surprisingly, he has won international competitions with his skills.
