Damp Dandelion

I went to the station to catch the train to Metheringham today, and the place was packed! I soon found out it was because the new high speed LNER rail link to London was beginning today. There will now be five direct trains to London per day! I'm not sure I will take advantage of this very often.

I arrived in Meg as normal, and on the walk to the Parents' house I took this photo of a damp looking dandelion clock. There was only one of them...

A few jobs to do over there - mostly in the kitchen. Ally was perfectly fine with me today I'm glad to say, and even mother was fairly civil.

Tonight hopefully the plumber will finally come and we will have usable heating again. He was meant to come Friday and didn't. I heard the weather forecaster mention temperatures of -5 earlier so I really hope he comes today! He's due when Brian will be here fortunately!
