Studley Castle

As Mrs BB didn't listen to me when I told her to book a package holiday abroad, which shot up in price following the Thomas Cook Travel firm going bust, I refused to be held to ransom and we decided to book a break in the UK as consolation.

Quite a few years when the childen were young we had many Warner Leisure breaks, as Mrs BB didn't want to fly abroad in case the house caught fire or some other disaster!  Thus, we booked Warner's Studley Castle in Warwickshire for a couple of nights dinner, bed and breakfast.

The blipfoto is one I took on arrival of the castle. It's their flagship hotel and the views we have from our balcony of the surrounding countryside are first class.
