In the thumbnail its possible to see the two Mersey crossings Runcorn-Widnes.

Beyond are the Clwydian Hills  to the right Fiddler's Ferry Power Station near Warrington and to the left (more local)  is Mottram Church

a flock of Winter Thrushes came in low over the fields in Longdendale and suddenly turned left and gained height ... I went looking for them but in fading light had no chance.
