Little Egret

We saw 8 on a visit to the Solway Coast.

A first time ever to Bowness on Solway, RSPB Reserve Campfield Marsh has been on my very long places to visit for years. There were many Barnacle Geese, some Pink Footed Geese, hundreds of Oystercatchers and Golden Plover along with many common birds plus all those ones I wasn’t sure of. just enjoyed the scene.

It was around 3 hours when I didn’t think about all our troubles, personal, national and world wide and I seem to have got some benefit from the change. Tomorrow will tell but I guess it will be normal service resumed.
