Regency charm

In Leamington Spa again this morning. Leamington is considered a wonderful example of a Regency Spa town with fine avenues and crescents throughout. Until recently the main shopping street, 'The Parade' was looking very sorry for itself with many shops unoccupied and looking unkempt and sad. Now, after a few licks of paint and some refurbishment, it is looking very grand again. This balcony was part of the Regency Arcade but it has now been transformed in to a Premier Inn - the paintwork is looking fresh and the ironwork has been restored to its former glory. Well done, developers!
