Tonight we went to see a documentary film about France as at the forefront of solar technology in the early 1970s, but threw it all away with a centralised dash for nuclear. Now their nuclear fleet is antique and will cost billions to upgrade and no one feels like paying for it, while solar thermal and solar photovoltaic has gone to be super cheap and a commodity rolling of the factory production lines...

Today's backblip is the ceiling of the room at the theatre in town where the film was shown. My wife had been in this room before and rather liked the style, so before we left I took a snap.
