Bottoms up!

After breakfast we did a load of laundry, the weather forecast was for wind, and while it was bitter cold it was very windy, so I doubled up the pegs on the line to keep the laundry there, I didn't want to rescue the sheets from the neighbour's garden.

Upto lunch I upgraded most of my computers to the latest version of Debian GNU/Linux, release 10.6 came out over night. As usual a very boring process, most of the computers had automatically downloaded the latest version, I just had to say run the install, and then after rebooting, purge the old kernel that isn't required anymore. You normally only need to reboot a Linux box if you've upgraded the kernel - as in this case - but it's always good practice just to check that everything restarts automatically anyway.

This afternoon we to the dog to the park, which had a few more people in it than yesterday, and I found another ball, this one is a specially modified one for dogs, so it has a squeaker in it, and it's a bit smaller than a regular tennis ball so smaller dogs can carry it. He was mostly interested in digging and sniffing (see blip) but he was also happy to fetch the ball for a while, which is a bit better exercise for him.

Time to now make dinner and use to some of the tomatoes we've managed to grow this summer and a courgette. At the moment we have rather a lot of tomatoes, of all shapes, sizes and colours. The small red/brown ones are probably the most flavourful, but they are all pretty good.
