A disaster on the knitting front, I was finishing hubby's beanie which needs washed and dried in shape, called blocking I think. I was drying it over a glass bowl to keep the shape when I knocked it off the kitchen surface. The bowl smashed and the hat was good at retaining all the shattered glass. However the glass cut 5 large holes in the hat which needed to then be darned. Drat it has added character already before it's even worn. Repaired version in extras
