Two Men in Red
... and one of them I know quite well.
Had lunch at Sr Zé and Dona Nazaré's today, with the Sutton four, and then drove them to Évora for their bus. While there, did a few things and found out we couldn't do some others.
Picked up a Polish hitchhiker on the way back, who has ended up staying the night with us; he and Mike have been swapping hitchhiking tales, Mike hitched up Africa till Zaïre (as it was then) and this guy (with an unpronounceable name) has been all over Europe, assures us hitching is alive and well.
Gratefuls:
- that I don't have to hitch to travel, sounds uncomfortable and scary
- being able to give this guy a shower, a meal, and somewhere out of the cold wind to sleep
- time to wander and take photos of the autumn light creating beauty, might add an extra of a peacock in the park...
