Ready to go

The start of the study abroad diaries.

Today I had a very busy day travelling across the globe.

I flew at 9.30 from Edinburgh to London and then at 12 to Denver. I arrived to Denver a little after 3pm for some reason I felt really sick when we first landed but it soon passed. I went through customs and picked up by luggage and had a wander around the airport before a 5pm shuttle took my to the University in Laramie, Wyoming. As we left the airport there was a beautiful red sunset and you know what they say about a red sky at night - I was indeed pretty delighted.

I then checked into the halls of residence. I have a room on the 11th floor with a beautiful view of the campus and distant hills. I am sharing with a roommate but as i moved in early they are yet to arrive. I then unpacked my possessions and got into bed for a well deserved nights sleep.
