Not Knucker Hole

Took Mother for a long car ride. We visited Lyminster hoping to find Knucker Hole which I found on some tourist website of places to visit around Worthing. Unfortunately the deep and "bottomless" pond that is the ancient Knucker Hole of many legends is well fenced in behind hedges and barbed wire which begs the question of whether anyone has checked the tourist information. We visited the Grade I listed Saxon church of St Mary Magdalene instead.  If you check the map location you will see the highlighted Knucker Hole very nearby, you just can't get to it
