Bake Off

I have spent the last couple of days sorting out things after the wedding. Returning kilts, handed in the marriage licence and bringing home many boxes for the church. Today we decided to have a break so my husband and I walked along the canal and had lunch in the Kilted Pig.

In the evening I went to Stirling Baptist church with a friend to a "Cakes, Bakes and Faith" event. This was organised by Tearfund with Martha Collison, youngest ever Bake Off contestant) and Will Torrent speaking about their experiences in Lebanon and the Ivory Coast. It was an enjoyable night with a mixture of chat and cakes. Afterwards I spoke to Martha about her wedding earlier this year which I had followed on Instagram.
