Elephant and castle pots

I have been wanting to photograph these (I am not sure if they are chimney pots?), visible from the platform at Vauxhall Station, for ages. They are glorious, but I have been unable to find anything out about them. The extra was taken from the pavement, and the building they adorn is now a coffee shop.
