AbstractThursday 226 Autumn

This week's theme, set by our host Ingeborg is either Autumn or Spring, depending on which side of the world you happen to live on.  I have enjoyed looking at the very contrasting images this has produced today.
Living in the UK, my season is of course Autumn, although this year,here in Essex, the leaves have been very slow to take on those vivid seasonal colours.  Looking only in my garden (raining quite heavily  most of the day plus waking up with a horrible head cold) I found the best colours in one of our berberis shrubs.  The result is several shots layered in Picasa and given a bit of a glazed finish in PS Elements 2019.
I can't resist adding as an extra, one of a number of roses still happily blooming at October's end.  Not abstract but I do love the jewelled appearance that the raindrops give.
