Finished

Managed to just get a parking space at Balvenie distillery in the overflow parking for the Dramathon. It checked it down while we were on the bus heading to the start. At least we could all hide in the office on the platform of the old Tamdhu station until the start of the race. It was very wet under foot but the rain stayed off during the race. Managed to pace the run well this time and finished in my fastest ever half marathon time of 2:03:37, even if I did have to run back along the course to the surprise of some of the spectators to get the full 21.1k as the official course is a bit short. J and Kilda had a nice walk and were at the finish to meet me. Headed back to the campsite for a show and some lunch before heading out to the new Macalllen distillery centre. Very impressive but extremely tight as we couldn’t blag any samples at all. Did buy a miniature of the double wood to try later. Also popped into Craigellachie but they didn’t have a shop and went to Aberlour but didn’t fancy anything. Back to the campsite for a night in the camper with the bed down watching strictly via 4G and trying the whisky I got as my finishers pack
