Choppy Sea, Dunmanus Bay
Another gorgeous day of sunshine, it felt so spring like and inspired me to start giving the polytunnel a make over! Clearing the potting table, watering all the self seeded salad greens, weeding the beds and washing the plastic, time to do my seed order!
Couldn't resist a coastal walk, so headed out from the Air India Memorial, across the shingle beaches to Illannacuska which is almost an island, just joined to the mainland by a beach. I was surprised just how choppy the sea was, every so often, probably the seventh wave but I wasn't counting, the spray came over the cliff. There nothing like a bit of bracing sea air to clear ones head from life's little challenges!
I hadn't realised this place had a name, not sure what it means but it reminded me of my friend Ilana, she and I sat on these rocks on a warm Autumn afternoon, watching a Dolphin swimming out of the bay, I hope she is looking in!
