Remembering Catherine
Today I attended the funeral of Barb's partner, Catherine.
It was a lovely service and I learnt a lot about Catherine's rich life that I'd previously not known and caught up with many of her friends, and family.
I had my camera with me, as usual, but didn't have the heart for much photography. I spotted this man taking the flowers from Catherine's coffin to the wake, and have one of the stunning roses sitting in a specimen vase on my table.
The scent is quite something.
The extra is of a young woman I taught years ago who was waitressing at the golf club before starting a new stage of her life at the National Art School.
