The clear blue sea

Finally found the turquoise waters of my dreams for a spot of snorkelling. The most at home I have felt since leaving home. Just loved every moment of it and I ask myself, why has it taken me 51 years to get around to this? It’s an enchanting world under the surface and so serene and peaceful, could have stayed there all day.
There was also a spot of fishing to be done and I was not hopeful given my lack of previous experience so you can imagine my surprise when I was the first one to catch a fish. Also a bit horrified at the sight of the poor thing dangling there. Not really sure how to free it without causing it more distress I was just flapping around, probably more so than the poor fish. Might just have to end my fishing career there which is a shame as I obviously have a talent for dropping a hook into some water.
Spent the day with 2 young things Amanda from China and Joanna from Germany. They were really good company although I was feeling a bit like their mum by the end, lots of questions about child birth and marriage and such things. Did my best to be positive.
