...the monster of the 'trigger plant' world coming in at a considerable 5cm from tip to toe!
Trigger plants have a springloaded touch sensitive column hidden under the petals which flicks up when an insect lands on the trigger spot.
At the end of the column is the anther and stigma and depending on the cycle of the plant the insect will collect or deposit pollen on or from the column.
How clever!
