The Final Cut of the Year

Mildly surprised to find that this morning is sunny, bright and with blue skies.

Quite surprised  to see that the freshly cut grass is relatively leaf free after my journey with the mower. Better record the view, because that will change.

We were invited to lunch with Ian and Joan. It was good to catch up with each other. Ian and I have been friends for 50 years. We competed together in many motor sport competitions, attended BB events and worked on the Jim Clark Memorial Campaign.

We live about 14 miles apart, but we both have busy lives and get together about 3 or 4 times a year for a meal and catch up
