I got up and went home around 0550; best to get out of the way of any prospective fallout.
Kinda slept but didn't until 0830 and slowly got the stray laundry sorted out; dinner set up, 
After a couple of hours and the EWO had hunted the lass out, I went up with fish pie mix and after a brief breakfast it was off to Princes St and then off to school pick up.

Straight to BHS for Scottish Cup action - Tom's team v St Margaret's. Aided by a couple of academy players, they eased their way to a 2-0 lead by half time (although not without wobbles) 2nd half they reasserted themselves and nicked another couple for a straightforward progression to the next round. (Thankfully it took care of itself; I had a minor migraine during the game...) It's good to start the weekend with a smile on the lads' faces.

Home for a later lunch and eventually we headed out to get a phone charger and then to Madelvic House / Granton Hub to see the weekend's exhibition including one of mine. It was too busy so we did a quick loop and left; we'll go back later in the weekend for a proper look.

Fish pie coupled with Ayr v Dundee and by 9 I hustled them off to bed and I descended into a painful 3 hours of yet more migraine. The worst in a while; not nice.
