Autumn reds

Swam, very vigourously, collected the jacket I'd left last night and then did some unplanned shopping.  

So fare the rest of the day has been in the house - laundry (it's a sunny day, a good drying day), making the Christmas cakes I wasn't going to make and trying my hand at sourdough pizza bases, trying to remember last week's lessons.

Clocks go back tonight so it is good to see sun so late in the day.  i had a brisk walk to the Kirk.  I've missed the best of the vigne vierge but it it is looking pretty, set off by the red of the yew berries.
