Balloch

It was a very cold sunny morning as we caught an early train into Glasgow and then back to my sister’s. I took the opportunity to get a quick photo of the loch.

We had an eventful early morning being woken by voices around 6am. My sister looked out the window to see a large boat being transported past our window. This was surprising given we are not on the main road. We had been alerted that the road was to be closed in the early hours due to a large load but hadn’t realised it was a boat. What was even funnier for my sister was that she went down to put the keys back in the key box to be unable to find it and not recognise where it should be. A neighbour saw her looking perplexed and then said that they had to take down the fence to get the boat through and showed her where the key box that was attached to the fence had been put.

Anyway l am glad to say we had an uneventful journey back passing by flooded fields and just missed the rain.
