Langdale Pikes from Holehird Gardens

We thought that we would take advantage of the extra hour by driving early into the Lakes.  The weather was set fair.  First to White Moss where we walked along the river to Penny Rock Woods.  It was quite windy and the sun didn't shine too much but it did get better later on.

Coffee and lunch in Grasmere and then to Holehird Gardens from where this was taken looking towards the Langdale Pikes.  Ferns at Penny Rock in extras.
