Rainy anniversary

It’s our 9th wedding anniversary today.

It rained.

A lot!

We changed our plans a bit due to the weather. We started with going swimming in the pool by our holiday apartment - L has loved showing her daddy all her skills this holiday.

Lunch was a rather large affair at a waterfront restaurant in Totland Bay recommended by my cousin - very nice three courses!

Later on, while L was playing the soft play area next to the swimming pool (got to burn her energy off somehow), the sun came out! Hooray! So we hot-footed it down to the beach for a quick sandcastle before teatime.

Spotted these numbered parking spots... amazingly showing today’s date! The second photo is the view from our lunch table - would be amazing on a dry day!
